Dates & Times: June 25 5:30-8:30 & June 27 9-12
Ready to level up your throwing skills? This focused two-day workshop is designed for intermediate potters who want to explore larger forms and sectional construction on the wheel.
Over two intensive 3-hour sessions, participants will learn how to throw and assemble a two-part vase using 6–10 lbs of clay in total. Day one focuses on centering, throwing larger forms, and creating the individual sections. On day two, we’ll refine, alter, and transform the assembled piece through shaping and surface manipulation techniques that add movement, character, and individuality to the final form.
This class is ideal for potters looking to push scale, improve consistency with heavier clay, and experiment with altered forms.
